Health & Climate, The Lancet

All health professionals have a duty and obligation to engage in all kinds of non-violent social protest to address the climate emergency.
— Richard Horton, Editor in Chief, The Lancet

The Lancet is the oldest and most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journal in the world, offering wisdom to a global network of health professionals.

When we were filming in London during the October Rebellion, we heard Richard was planning to talk in the Doctors of XR tent in St James Park. When that tent was removed by police, his stage was gone, so we contacted Richard and asked if he would be willing to speak on camera, feeling that his perspective was likely to create a highly powerful and shareable call to arms for the medical community globally

When he agreed, we quickly brought a team together to capture and edit a powerful piece to camera, which we distributed to audiences online. The film gathered over 400,000 views in its first 5 days online, starting conversations far and wide on the power of the medical establishment to tackle the Climate and Ecological Emergency.
